About needling
Skin needling provides the most effective treatment for all types it reduces fine lines, wrinkles, sagging contours, acne, scarring, stretch marks, and tired-looking skin is visibly plumped and rejuvenated.
The damaged tissue is replaced with fresh collagen deposition to reduce the appearance of indentations and uneven skin texture. Needling also provides an effective solution for hyperpigmentation and age spots, especially for darker tones. The pen-sized wand allows for efficient treatment of the entire facial and neck area. The under-eyes, corners of the nose, brow bone, upper lip, and under the chin are effortlessly reached.
We use the most advanced form of needling and your treatment can be upgraded to a skin infusion treatment by combining skin needling with our ampoules that contain high concentrations of high-quality active ingredients that ensure a high therapeutic response level. These products are manufactured following pharmaceutical quality standards and the formulas are specific for transepidermal application to treat specific aesthetic concerns.

Treatment Procedure:
A consultation will be the first step in the treatment, with some questions regarding your current skin routine and any medication you are currently using. Our Skin Therapist will assess your skin and tailor a suitable program for you.

What are the expectations for needling?
Needling cannot be performed if you have an active infection such as herpes.
This treatment cannot be performed within 2 weeks post dermal filler or botox.
How long should it take before I see results?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4 to 6 treatments (spaced 2-6 weeks apart). Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments and when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.

Is the treatment painful?
The treatment doesn’t hurt but can be slightly uncomfortable mostly when doing the forehead, the minimum depth we used over the skin is 0.25mm we do this on the forehead, around the eyes, and lips. On all other areas like the cheeks the treatment is much more tolerable and we can turn up the depth without it being any more uncomfortable. We like to do the forehead first to get it over with generally takes less than a minute.

Is there any downtime after treatments?
Everyone’s skin is different but generally, the skin stays red for the afternoon of the treatment. I always remind clients to change their pillowcase before bed. The next morning depending on your skin the skin is much calmer and generally redness has subsided already. We do not recommend putting makeup on straight after this treatment but the next day is fine.
Exercise is not recommended for 24 hours and strictly no sun exposure.

Is deeper better?
No, you do not need to go really deep or need to see excessive blood during this treatment. We aim to reach the dermis where collagen is produced the therapist will only see pinpoint bleeding when reaching the dermis. Going deeper into the subcutaneous layer creates excessive blood, it doesn’t create more collagen, it will hurt a lot more and recovery will be a lot longer.
